Amit Somani has over 30 years of experience in general management, strategy, and operations within the ICT industry, including the last 15 years in the satellite and space sector.
Amit has worked extensively across North America, South America, Africa, Europe, and the Middle East.
Before joining Sama X, Amit served as Chief Strategy Officer at Space42 (formerly Yahsat) and as CEO of ABS – Agility Beyond Space. Prior to his roles in the satellite industry, he spent 15 years with leading consulting firms, advising ICT companies on strategy, operations, and technology.
He holds a Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering with French from the University of Nottingham, UK, and an MBA from London Business School.
Ramsey is the new CCO of Sama X and is responsible for overseeing business development, sales, marketing, sales operations, and product development activities to drive the company’s growth.
With over 25 years of international experience spanning sales, business development, strategy, and technology, Ramsey holds a long track record in the industry, having held multiple senior leadership positions. He also holds a strong foundation in management consulting and network engineering for fixed and wireless technologies, including satellite communications and space development.
Prior to joining Sama X, Ramsey was CCO of ABS, a satellite operator, leading the revenue generation globally for video and data segments.
He previously held senior roles with SES, Booz & Co, STC, Orange Business services, and Nortel Networks in the GCC and North America.
Ramsey holds an Electrical Engineering degree in telecommunications from Polytechnique de Montréal university in Canada. He is fluent in English, French and Arabic.
Rehman Adil brings over 20 years of product and technology leadership experience in telecommunications, digital health and enterprise IT. Over the past six years, he has launched four greenfield digital businesses, scaling platforms to millions of users through disciplined execution, and developed deep expertise in cloud-native architectures, digital MVNOs, operator billing, IPTV and unified communications.
At Sama X, he oversees the technology and operations of business support systems for sales, fulfillment and service delivery, driving cross-market execution. Rehman holds an MEng from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm.

He has broad experience advising businesses on a wide range of corporate, commercial, transactional, and regulatory matters, with a focus on providing practical and strategic legal advice to support business objectives and manage legal risks.
At Sama X, Samer advises the business across a broad range of legal matters, working closely with various teams to support commercial activities, review and negotiate agreements, advise on regulatory and compliance matters, and help identify and manage legal risks in connection with the company’s operations and projects.
He is an admitted lawyer before the North Lebanon Bar Association and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (USEK), Lebanon.

His career spans product management, pricing strategy, capacity planning, and technical and pre-sales support for major operators and enterprise customers globally. He has also served in network operations roles with Nokia, Huawei Technologies, and Orange Jordan, where he gained experience in NOC operations, FTTH coordination, RF engineering, and customer service. Most recently, he worked at Acuative Jordan as a Service Desk Analyst, resolving complex WAN and SD-WAN incidents.
